These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MedLoom (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

About MedLoom

MedLoom is a web-based platform that provides educational and organizational tools for pre-medical students. MedLoom helps you track academics, experiences, MCAT preparation, and the medical-school application process. MedLoom does not provide medical care, medical advice, or professional healthcare services.

No guarantee of outcomes

MedLoom is a planning and organizational tool. It does not guarantee admission to any medical school, MCAT score or result, academic result, interview, or any other outcome. Your results depend on many factors outside of MedLoom, including your own effort and circumstances.

Your account

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your login secure.
• You may delete your application data through your Profile settings or by contacting us.

Acceptable use

• Use MedLoom only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms.
• Do not attempt to access another user's data, disrupt the Service, or misuse its features.
• Do not enter information that is unlawful, infringes others' rights, or is harmful.

Intellectual property

The MedLoom software, design, and branding are owned by MedLoom. You retain ownership of the content and information you enter into the Service. You grant MedLoom the limited right to use your entered information as needed to operate the Service for you, including personalizing Ask MedLoom when you have enabled that feature.

Subscriptions and billing

MedLoom offers a free plan and an optional MedLoom+ subscription. When available, a one-time 14-day free trial may be offered per account. MedLoom+ is billed as a recurring subscription through Stripe, our payment processor, on a monthly or annual basis according to the plan you select at checkout. Payment-card details are handled by Stripe; MedLoom does not store full card details.

Cancellation

You can cancel your MedLoom+ subscription at any time. When you cancel, your subscription remains active through the end of your current paid period, after which your account returns to the free plan. Any one-time free trial is limited to one per account. Cancellation does not change access you have already paid for through the end of the current period.

Service availability

MedLoom strives to keep the Service available but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features or the Service, and we are not liable for interruptions beyond our control.

Termination

You may stop using MedLoom and delete your application data at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or to protect the Service.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, MedLoom is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any damages related to admissions decisions, test results, or outcomes based on information you enter or receive from the Service. The Service is provided for educational and organizational purposes only.
